This year, Reed Elementary will enjoy the talents of two wonderful Art teachers.
Stephanie Caldwell will instruct and bring out the artist in the First and Second Graders and Edy Raby will teach the Kindergartners.

The Art teachers at Reed believe that every child is already an artist when he or she arrives in the classroom. It is their job to help students explore their own ways of seeing the world and expressing themselves through visual mediums. It is great fun to watch each child’s skills, knowledge of art concepts, and personal confidence build as they move through the grades. It is through early positive experiences in studio art and early exposure to great art of the world will leave children with an appreciation of art, whether created by themselves or by others.
