Basic Math Areas

  • Miss Maggie.org. Round the World Math
    Children (or teachers) set this up to do easy or hard math practice for Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division. Nice animation and timer sets the child up to improve their personal score.

Number Sense

Addition and Subtraction

  • Little Animals Activity Center. The Owl has some addition and subtraction games to play. There are three levels. This site uses Shockwave. Be sure you have the newest version installed.
  • Arithmetic- Four- This partner game plays like Connect Four.
  • Pole Climber- Addition Using a circus theme, children can practice their addition facts and see a timed result.
  • Addition and Subtraction Game
    Dude's Dilemma- Use your math skills to lower the winch and rescue Dude from the roof of a building.
  • Single Digit Subtraction
    Drag and drop the number cards to make a subtraction sentence.

Counting - Place Value-

  • 100 Chart Children click on a start button to display a number. The timer records how long it takes for them to find it and click on it on a 100 chart.
  • Mend the Number Square (100 Chart)
    Drag the missing numbers to the correct place on the number chart.
  • Odd and Even Game
    Drag and drop number cards to their correct place on the number cards. There is a check button to see how you have done. Warning! A surprise awaits you if you are wrong. Click on the page to try again.
  • Place Value- Base Ten Blocks
    Drag blocks on or off the paper to make the correct number.
  • Shark Pool- Place Value
    Count the number of cubes then click on the correct number in the bubble. Watch out for sharks! Click on the red check button to see if you are correct
