 PTA Volunteer Coffee & Sign up!

Don’t forget the Volunteer Coffee Sign up on Thursday 1st September - 8:30am in the MPR.  Join the PTA & Reed community to sign up for volunteering opportunities both in the classroom and around school events.

Grade Level Talks are on the calendar! This is your chance to learn more about what to expect of your growing Kindergartner, 1st or 2nd Grader. Led by our wonderful school psychologist Dr Maya Van Putten, as well as Principal Dr Mary Niesyn & a grade level teacher in Room 26.

  • Kindergarten: Thursday 29th September 8:30-9:30am
  • 1st Grade: Tuesday 4th October 8:30-9:30am
  • 2nd Grade: Tuesday 18th October 8:30-9:30am

 

Back To School Night – is coming up! Thursday 8th September. This is a great opportunity for parents & caregivers to learn more about Reed, your new teacher & what is to come for the 2016-17 school year.

 Kindergarten Parents -

  • 6-6:30 Invited to MPR
  • 6:30-7:30 Visit your child’s classroom

 

1st & 2nd Grade Parents -

  • 6 -7:00 Visit your child’s classroom
  • 7:00-7:30 Invited to the MPR

 



 
 
Arrival
 
Students are to arrive at school between 8:00 and 8:25. The first bell rings at 8:25 and the students to line up by Room number on the blacktop. Teachers meet the students on the blacktop and accompany them to their classrooms. At 8:30 the second bell rings and classroom instruction begins. Students who arrive after the 8:30 bell are to report to the office for a tardy slip.
 
Dismissal 
 
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
                 Students are dismissed at 2:40pm                  
 
Wednesdays are Minimum Days
*Students are dismissed at 1:40pm
